What is hair threading?

Threading is an ancient method of hair removal that originated in the Middle East and was performed with a length of twisted cotton thread to catch and pull out hairs. It is believed to have been popular in Persian culture where it is called Bande Abru (“Abru” means eyebrow, and “Band” is the thread).

Threading the entire face is widely spread amongst Iranians, but it was originally performed when a woman was getting married or during special occasions.  In ancient Persia, threading was a sign that a girl had reached adulthood and become a woman.

Threading is growing in popularity here in the UK and other Western countries, with leading retailers such as Fenwick, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges now featuring threading bars in their stores as the growing trend is capitalised upon.

Unlike using tweezers, where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line.  Additionally as the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized, when professionally done, threading is a particularly ideal alternative for those individuals with sensitive skin.

My Question is not answered here, what should I do?
